Background Information
Finca El Cedro, managed by Oswaldo González, sits high in the Huabal district of Peru’s Cajamarca region, an area known for its ideal microclimates and exceptional coffee production. At 1,850 masl, the farm benefits from cool temperatures and fertile soils that slow cherry maturation and encourage flavour development.

Oswaldo cultivates Caturra and Bourbon varieties, prized for their balance and sweetness. During harvest, cherries are meticulously handpicked at peak ripeness, with high picking standards in place to ensure only the best fruit is selected. After harvesting, the coffee is fully washed and carefully dried, resulting in a clean, fruit-forward cup with excellent structure.

A community leader and quality-focused producer, Oswaldo has helped position Huabal as a top origin for Peruvian specialty coffee. El Cedro is a beautiful reflection of his dedication to sustainable farming and his pursuit of excellence from the soil to the final cup.
