Finca Juan Martin is an innovative and experimental farm located in the highest area of Sotara, just 30 minutes from Cauca’s capital, Popayán.
Owned and operated by Banexport, this farm is dedicated to cultivating, harvesting, and processing different varieties, with a focus on developing optimum practices for each step toward exceptional coffee quality.
Beyond producing high-quality coffee, Juan Martin serves as a resource and example for coffee producers who export their coffees through Banexport.
The farm is committed to environmentally-conscious practices and creating educational job opportunities for community members.
At Finca Juan Martin, the coffee is meticulously cared for—soil conservation is practiced to prevent erosion, undergrowth is managed, and pests or diseases are regularly monitored.
The farm follows strict quality control measures to ensure that each coffee variety, including this outstanding Gesha, is harvested and processed at its peak potential.
