This coffee is a result of the skill, dedication, and passion of Emilio López and Jose Roberto Santamaría, who come from multigenerational coffee-producing families.
With deep roots in their land, they joined forces to create Odyssey Coffees, an El Salvador and Portland-based coffee company.
Together, they produce exceptional coffees across six farms: Finca Las Isabellas, Tapantogusto, Las Piedras, La Cumbre, El Manzano, and Ayutepeque.
When they merged their operations, Emilio and Jose implemented unified farming methods across all their farms, ensuring consistency and sustainability. Their dedication has earned them a strong reputation worldwide, with recurring demand for their top-tier coffees.

Finca Las Isabellas was acquired in 2007, and it has since become a focal point for cultivating SL varieties, along with Pacamara, Pacas, and Red Bourbon.
On-site at Finca Las Isabellas is the Tequendama mill, where they process their own cherries and those of neighboring farms, enabling full control over the coffee’s quality from cherry to cup.
In April 2021, Emilio and Jose launched their “Growing Together” initiative to uplift the local coffee-producing communities.
Through this project, they offer workshops to help suppliers enhance productivity and quality, along with medical support and educational programs for youth.
