Laurentino Hernandez

Laurentino Hernandez is a coffee producer from San Marcos de Caiquin, Located in the Opalaca region within Lempira States.

San Marcos de Caiquin is known for it’s steep hills, Picturesque landscapes and pine forests. The latter of which Laurentino has named his farm after.

Laurentino started “Los Pinos” (Translated to “The Pines”) in 1994 and has been growing coffee there ever since.
Laurentino loves working and his family, even though they all have their own coffee plots. They work together to get better prices and improve quality at the farm.

Lead by a man named Cristian, the La Sierra community is experimenting with different fermentation processes and the results are incredible!
